  19. Beverly Cutting

Happy day for you! We hope you have a special day to celebrate your birth!
We are in New York now and settling into our home and community! We feel like our family is on a mission (church membership is a little sparse here) as we have a few families that we are working with to help join the church. Our secret weapon is our shared Family Home Evenings. The formula for success is fun, good and friends! When we check with the kids before inviting, they enjoy being a part of the evening.

    Enjoy your mission experience!

    Sincerely, the Cutting family!

  20. Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great day!

  21. Happy Birthday Elder Brown. I am friends with your Mom and attended her baptism in Germany. We went together to church in our youth. I hope you have a wonderful day in Moldovia. What a great place to be on your birthday! Our son Ross is serving in Russia and his birthday is later this month. Thank for your example and choosing to serve a Mission in Romania.

  22. Happy Birthday. You do not know me, but I play chess against your Dad. I am from Ohio. Sometimes when we are not trying to concentrate to hard, we manage to speak a few words to each other. He told me months ago about your up coming mission which sparked my interest and even sent me a Book of Mormon. Next thing I know, I’m seeing two missionaries myself, and attending church services occasionally, I have studied the bible and attended services somewhere almost all my life really. Let me say, I am very impressed with you and your sister. The excitement I feel through you as you go along your journey. Your stories are interesting and you certainly do radiate such faith. It’s not only the people in Moldova who may benefit from your mission. You really are an inspiration. I know your Dad is very proud, and it goes without saying how proud your Mom is. You must take after her with your writing skills. Yeah that’s a little dig on your Dad, but he doesn’t give me any breaks in chess. A ratio of 4 to 1 I think. lol Well, You take care of yourself, I just wanted to let you know I think what you are doing is pretty awesome, along with your upbeat spirit. Sherri Ackley

  23. Happy Birthday!!! I am so proud of the work you are doing and that you have chosen to serve Our Heavenly Father!!! Love, Sister McCorkle

  24. Ernst & Angelika Rehse

Happy Birthday, Elder Brown. May our Father in Heaven bless you each day – this is all what we are wishing, because- what do we need more than His blessings?!
Love and prayers, Ernst and Angelika Rehse from Bad Salzuflen … that’s the spa town where your mum was living ‘a long time ago’ … we are serving in the Frankfurt Temple since a lot of months.

  25. I hope you had a lovely birthday! Here’s to many more! And good luck out there – I hope your mission’s treating you well! πŸ˜€ We’re thinking of you here in SD. –Amelia

  27. Happy birthday to me! … oh wait, I mean you!

  28. Multi ani traiasca, multi ani traiasca
    La multi ani!
Cine sa traiasca, cine sa traiasca
    La multi ani!
Elder Brown sa traiasca, elder Brown so traiasca
    La multi ani! πŸ˜‰

I don’t know if the sing the same happy birthday song Moldova, but this is the one everyone sings in Romania. Hope you have a great day and eat some yummy Romanian deserts on your bday. We are super excited that you are serving in my home country and think it’s so fun you got to be companions with Elder H (my kids are really good friends with his siblings here in GA, and he actually worked with my husband a few times before he went to West Point).

  29. Margarite Chesley
