A Visit to Piatra Neamt
On Wednesday we went to Piatra Neamt, although we had to get up a bit earlier to do so. The city is a bit like Brasov since it’s surrounded by mountains / hills. However, it’s different as it is composed of apartment blocs as far as the eye can see. It was interesting, industrialization in the mountains, with a gondola and a single ski run in the center of the city. We met with the family we came to see, they were really nice…and of course there was sarmale. They seemed to receive the message of the Restoration well.
This week I made cheesecake properly. I’m so happy to finally be able to make good cheesecake. I’m going to finish this transfer off with some classic blueberry cream pie.
This week we had an exchange with Elder W, which was a blast. He’s got a really energetic personality.
Finally, on Saturday, we had an activity at the church that was decently well attended. Elder W and I had made cookies for it on the exchange, and the Sisters brought cream puffs. Though nothing fancy, it was a good opportunity to interact for a few of the members and others that came.
Wishing you all the best,
