Sharing the Gospel with a Chef…Yum!
This week was another fun one. On Friday we had a zone training meeting, which we were a little late to, because we had a visit across town with a couple who we are teaching Romanian. They are from the Philippines. The husband is a personal chef to a local businessman. That being said, we ate some good looking spaghetti and some finely made brownie-like dessert. The couple is really nice, and their friend from church was also there. As part of our next meeting with them, we will share the message of the Restoration, so I’m really excited for that.
The zone training meeting was also really good, as always. It was mostly about the importance of personalizing our finding/sharing of the Gospel, and how to do so. I can see how it’s important that we share our connection with what we’re teaching. It makes those listening to the message more comfortable, interested, and likely to be open to feeling the influence of the Holy Ghost.
Today I organized the refrigerator, which made me feel good. Now I have to deal with registering for university classes for the fall, which is a bit chaotic being on the other side of the world. On a side note, I feel like I am making some advances in learning how to parallel park.
Wishing everyone all the best,
